Norway’s TTS Marine will be exhibiting at Seatrade’s Cruise Shipping Convention in Miami during March 13 – 16.
The Company has recently expanded its US operations and has relocated its headquarters to Miami in order to better serve its Customers and to meet the ever-increasing demands of the cruise industry.

The new Miami office of TTS Marine Inc. is headed by Geoff Stokoe. TTS Marine Inc. now has three Service Stations located on the West Coast (San Francisco); the Gulf Coast (New Orleans) and on the East Coast (Miami)
The exhibition stand will show the full range of equipment and services available to the cruise industry and the ‘One-Stop shop’ in the United States for the full range of TTS products.
TTS Ships Equipment recently delivered a series of doors and lifting equipment for installation aboard the latest Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s (RCCL) Ultra Voyager cruise vessel, under construction at the Kvaerner Masa Yard in Finland. At about 160,000 gross registered tons, the new vessel will be the largest cruise vessel ever built.
This was the first of the Ultra Voyager Class of cruise liners built by Kvaerner Masa, TTS Ships Equipment having supplied similar systems to all five of the previous Voyager Class. Under a design, build and installation (turn-key) contract, originally signed in January, TTS is building side shell doors for various functions – passenger entry, luggage, bunkers, spare parts, provisions, and mooring.
As well as being involved in the newbuilding industry, TTS is also heavily involved in the service and refit market. Following the successful installation of a TTS-designed side shell door onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) 75,338 grt cruise vessel Norwegian Spirit during 2005, NCL, headquartered in Miami, has again turned to Sweden’s TTS Ships Equipment, Gothenburg, for similar work onboard the 91,740 grt Norwegian Star. This will be the third such refit project carried out by TTS for NCL during the past 18 months.
The installation work will be carried out in San Francisco Dry Dock during the vessel’s next scheduled drydocking operation in March this year (2006). The work onboard the Norwegian Spirit was also carried out in the same shipyard.
